Two founders determined to change the RegTech landscape

With over 20 years of experience in risk, finance and regulatory reporting, Klaas van Imschoot and Bert De Vriendt joined forces and founded b.fine. Having been actively involved in the regulatory reporting processes at a number of large banks, they have a solid grasp of the reporting and compliance challenges faced by the finance industry. b.fine is a solution to these challenges.

The company was founded in 2017 as a consulting firm, assisting banks in implementing, monitoring and managing their regulatory reporting processes. Yet none of the solutions available at that time really captured the ever-changing needs of reporting teams and regulators. This is where the idea for an end-to-end reporting solution came from and this platform was launched as b.rx. The b.rx platform significantly simplifies the regulatory reporting process, drastically relieving regulatory pressure. b.rx brings much-needed innovation to the finance and compliance market and b.fine is leading financial institutions to the next era of regulatory reporting.

A RegTech scale-up that goes beyond innovation and growth

b.fine is characterized by ambition, innovation, transparency and growth. By partnering with companies such as Oracle and PwC, we want to have a real impact on the European financial industry. Our goal is to support financial institutions in the digital transformation of their regulatory reporting processes so they never have to worry about regulatory pressure again.

In 2021, b.fine raised €1 million in a funding round led by FinTech investor, Michel Akkermans, the man behind Pamica NV. Akkermans has well-known expertise in the banking sector. This investment will help us accelerate growth, innovate and overhaul the regulatory reporting landscape.
